How to install Windows 7 or Windows 10 with a bootable USB key

Introduction

To install Windows 7 and Windows 8 , it is possible through the method which allows you to create a Bootable USB key or with the classic method which consists in creating an installation DVD, also you can install it from a virtual drive. According to this guide, we explain how to create a Bootable USB key with a single click!

To start, you must have a USB key with a storage space of 4 GB minimum.

Step 1: Installation of the Windows USB / DVD Download Tool:

To install Windows 7 or Windows 10 with a Bootable USB key , Microsoft offers a " Windows USB / DVD Download Tool " through the codeplex site .

This tool allows users to create a medium, notably on a USB key or on a DVD .

1- Please click on the "Download" button to download the " Windows USB / DVD Download Tool "

2- Click on "Open the folder" in your download folder, then launch the "Windows USB / DVD Download Tool" to install it on your computer and create your Bootable USB key.

NB: Although the name of the software suggests that it is only intended for Windows 7 , this tool provided by Microsoft is also compatible with Windows 10 .

3- Click on the " Install " button .

4- The installation of the " Windows USB / DVD Download Tool " starts.

5- Please click on " Finish ".

Step 2: Installation of Windows 7 or Windows 10 with the Bootable USB key:

Once you complete the installation of the " Windows USB / DVD Download Tool ", you will start to create your Bootable USB key for the installation of the operating system .

1- Launch the application from the "Start" menu.

2- Please Click on the "Browse" button, selectthe downloaded ISO then click on "Next".

3- Click on " USB device ". .

4- Click on "Start copying".

Finally, the copy of the Windows installation files on the USB key starts to launch, when the installation ends, you will restart your PC on the USB key. Now the USB stick is created, so you can start a new installation or an updateof Windows 7 or Windows 10 on your Computer.
